The Glowlights Screensaver will allow you to see the flames burn and flicker as spooky music plays on Halloween night. The Glowlights Screensaver will give you the option to enable or disable its musical background. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com

Your NOOK Simple Touch lets you save your personal digital photos as screensavers. Follow these instructions:

1. Connect your NOOK Simple Touch to your computer using the provided microUSB cable.
2. Create and name a sub-folder within the Screensavers folder found in the NOOK Simple Touch directory.
3. Drag-and-drop your pictures into the sub-folder you created.
4. Once your photos are in the new folder, go to Settings > Screen > Screensaver, and then select your new folder. 
   
   For best results: 
   
   Include a few images in your subfolder as NOOK Simple Touch will cycle through the folder using a new image each time the device goes into sleep mode. 
   
   Images should be in Portrait orientation. Crop your images to 600 x 800 pixels. 
   
   Save the images as PNG (*.png) or JPEG (*.jpg) files.

   You can customize your NOOK by using custom screensaver images, which it displays on the reading screen when it is sleeping. Even though your NOOK’s reading screen isn’t a color screen, it can display 16 levels of gray, making it ideal for displaying black-and-white versions of your favorite pictures.

   Creating Screensaver Images

   When the Nook first launched in 2009, I was working at a Barnes & Noble bookshop. Because I was young and good with computers, my manager put me in charge of the Nook stand in front of the store. I was legitimately excited about the product.
