Uncomplicated batch image resizer and converter
Batch Image Converter does pretty much what you would expect it to – it will convert batches of images, changing format and resizing and, if necessary, deleting the original so as not to needlessly take up space.
Batch Image Converter is very simple – just a single interface with drop down “advanced” section. You choose your destination file parameters – JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP or GIF – and one of Batch Image Converter’s six size settings, including email and custom.
You can then drag and drop your photos into Batch Image Converter. The conversion takes place immediately, and you can view a log of the process if you want. Underneath the advanced options, you’ll be able to specify where you want Batch Image Converter to save the new files – if you don’t, they’ll be mixed in with the originals.
Batch Image Converter is pretty simple, but for uncomplicated conversions, it’s perfect.

Batch Image Converter, as its name faitly says, is the tool you need to convert the format of many pictures with one single click.

ImageBatch is expected to work under any Windows platform, starting from Windows 95. Installation is not required.
Advanced Batch Converter does exactly what its title suggests, allowing you to easily convert multiple graphics files at the click of a button. More than that, you can also edit images directly in Advanced Batch Converter, to produce a variety of effects (resize, rotate, flip, mirror, crop, filters, morphing effects, color enhancements etc).
The program supports 23 file formats to which you can convert: bmp, rle, dib, eps, ps, pdf, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif, jp2, png, pcx, pbm, tga, pcc, tif, tiff, ico, jng, wbmp, wmf and emf. The user interface couldn’t be any easier, making use of icons wherever possible and keeping buttons to a minimum. All images can be viewed directly inside the program, with various details about the image being displayed, such as file size, image size and image name. Along with the ability to batch convert you can, of course, carry out single conversions. It also includes full support for carrying out conversions (batch or otherwise) through the use of Command Line input. This enables you to carry out conversions without the use of the GUI, and to execute these from within other programs.
Advanced Batch Image Converter is a multiplatform tool for converting images from and to a wide variety of formats, for example: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, JPEG-2000, WebP. It can also read some historic ones, in particular Amiga IFF (ILBM).

Bulk Image Converter is an application with a name that pretty much sums up its functionality – it allows you to convert image files from and to BMP, EMF, EXIF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF and WMF.
This is a portable software, so it is not necessary to install Bulk Image Converter. In other words, you can place the app on a removable device (like a USB flash drive) and simply run its executable file on any computer. The most important aspect is that the Windows registry keys are not altered.
The interface of the program is based on a standard window where you can use the folder view to import pictures for processing. Plus, you can include subdirectories.
So, all you have to do is establish the input and output format, along with target folder, in order to proceed with the task. Furthermore, you can set Bulk Image Converter delete original files after conversion.
The program requires a low amount of system CPU and memory, in order to finish a task briefly. It has a good response time and delivers a good image quality after conversion. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing. Bulk Image Converter did not freeze, crash or display error dialogs.
On the other hand, there is no help file available and you cannot preview pictures or use the file browser to individually import items for processing. Plus, you cannot set Bulk Image Converter to open the output directory after conversion or to minimize to the system tray. The interface needs some improvements as well but we must remember that Bulk Image Converter has not been updated for a long while.
